West Lafayette, Indiana
Managed by the West Lafayette Parks & Recreation
Department, the park offers hand carry access (about a
100 yard carry) to a sand beach.
The park also offers water, a paved parking lot, picnic
area, sand volleyball court, access to the Wabash Heritage
Trail, and a playground. A skating center with restrooms
is located in the park. A short walk to the Levee area
offers a wide variety of places for food, supplies, fuel,
phone and entertainment.
From the river, the access site is on the right bank
just after a viewing platform atop an old bridge column.
